Gender mainstreaming

This approach to public policy aims to assess all of the possible implications for women and men in the implementation of various policy actions.

One example of such an approach is gender budgeting. It is a tool that prepares or analyzes budgets from a gender perspective. Its ultimate goal is for the state to adopt and implement budgets and programs that take into account the specific needs of men and women. That is, the main goal of a gender-sensitive approach is to take into account the interests of men and women so that they have the same advantages in different areas: political, economic, etc.
