Transition

There is no single magical operation which can change a person’s sex, so it is incorrect to say so. A transitioning person goes through more than one stage: it consists of hormonal therapy, legal work, and, in many cases, surgical and medical procedures. Therefore, transgender transition is a complex procedure and takes more than one day. It can, in fact, take years.
