Equality

There is a lot of debate about the concept of equality. Some might argue that people cannot be completely equal, because they are all different from the moment they are born: in gender, skin color, physical abilities and so on. But this is simply diversity. It should not stand in the way of human development and quality of life. Therefore, equality means that everyone should have equal rights and opportunities in the exercise of these rights: study, work, rest, marry (if they want to) and so on.

For example, internally displaced people who have been forced to flee their homes due to military conflicts still experience inequality, including housing difficulties. Such people often face discrimination from landlords: they either refuse to rent out housing when they find out about their status, or unjustifiebly increase the prices, and so on.
