Diversity

Our world is diverse – this is simply a fact of life. If you look around, you will see that each person is unique, with an individual set of traits and characteristics. Some of us wear bright clothes and make-up, others have gray hair, some use wheelchairs, others wear glasses, and some get around with the help of walking aids.

Our differences can be endless: age, gender, ethnic background, appearance, sexual orientation, disability, religious beliefs, and so on. Some of them may be immediately visible, such as height, skin or hair color, some may not be – for example, sexual orientation or health status. An inclusive and open society always wins, because people in it feel valued and given opportunities to reach their potential.
