This part of the handbook book is devoted to the correct ways of talking and writing. Here we will share the principles of barrier-free language.
When we talk about barrier-free language, what we mean is a way of communicating that is free from discriminatory, stereotypical and prejudiced words or phrases. This kind of language doesn’t exclude people – both consciously or unconsciously. If we were to sum up the principles of this language in one phrase, it would go something like this: the dignity of other people must be respected. Here’s some advice on how to practice this type of language.
