11 Jul
World Population Day
This commemorative day was first celebrated on July 11, 1987, when a significant event occurred – the world’s population crossed the 5 billion mark. In 2021, that number has reached 7.8 billion. Population growth is a challenge for the entire planet, as our natural resources are exhaustible. In Ukraine, on this day, it is customary to pay attention to the demographic problems of our population: health problems, aging and mortality, employment conditions and wages, which push people to choose the path of migration, and so on.
