Lack of resources and proper infrastructure, early marriages, religious traditions, and military conflicts – here are just a few reasons why millions of children around the world do not have access to secondary education. In 2021, according to a UNICEF report, one in seven children in the world missed three-quarters of their curriculum for various reasons, including those to do with the global pandemic. And this significantly increases the risk that these children will never return to school, but will instead be forced to work or marry. This is a good day to take part in activities and discussions on this topic, as well as participate in volunteer initiatives aimed at overcoming the problem, such as organizing educational lectures or workshops for children.
